Job Description
We are seeking junior & senior level back-end web developers / leads with 2 - 8 years hands-on experience to join our web development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side operation and functionality of the website. Your main tasks will include developing and maintaining our database layer, APIs, and other web services.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the overall application lifecycle.
- Primarily focus on coding and debugging while collaborating with front-end developers. Hands-on coding will be needed.
- Define and communicate technical and design requirements.
- Build a high-quality clean and reusable code for sustainable and functional web applications.
- Learn about new technologies and stay up to date with current best practices.
- Unit testing and performance optimization.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years for a junior level and 5 years for a senior level resource in the relevant technologies mentioned.
- In-depth understanding of web development and hands-on experience with RoR, NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, frameworks, web stack, libraries etc
- Hands-on expertise in REST, MySQL/PostgreSQL, WebSocket, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
- Hands-on with AWS infrastructure
- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, creating user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Good to have worked on Frontend technologies like ReactJS
- Capability to integrate multiple data sources and databases.
- Proven experience managing of hosting environment, that includes database administration and scaling an application to support load changes.
- Experience with Jira, Git and Agile methods
- Bachelors degree in any relevant stream
